EndeavourOS Galileo Neo features the Linux 6.7 kernel series and Mesa 23.3.3 graphics stack, ensuring users have an up-to-date installation media for new computers. The Calamares 3.3-powered installer has been refined to automatically install the r8168-lts package when selecting the Linux kernel LTS option. Additionally, the installer now correctly unmounts a device in case of installation errors, allowing immediate reuse for another installation session.
This release addresses issues related to the KDE Plasma offline installation option, specifically fixing problems in the Bash script affecting users running Wayland sessions. The KDE Plasma online installation option has also been adjusted to fetch the correct packages.
The update ensures that packages from the Arch Linux repositories are current, with highlights including the latest Mozilla Firefox 122 web browser and XOrg Server 21.1.11, addressing various security vulnerabilities.
