Apple has released an update to tvOS to version 16.3.3. This release fixes an issue affecting the 3rd generation Apple TV 4K. The tvOS 16.3.3 update comes a few weeks after tvOS 16.3.2 was released in mid-February and fixes a Siri request bug.

The latest update has its own fix. The update can be downloaded to Apple TV as an over-the-air install. Do this by selecting Software Update under System in the Settings app on your Apple TV. It can also be installed automatically if the feature is enabled in tvOS.
Apple’s note for the tvOS 16.3.3 update states, “Fixes an issue that caused the Siri Remote to stop responding on Apple TV 4K (3rd generation).” Apple didn’t mention it, but it’s likely that Apple has incorporated the usual performance and stability improvements as well.
