Motorola has confirmed that the Signature 27 will be unveiled on September 22, timed with the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii. The company has not given an India date. Motorola India has already posted its own teaser video for the phone on X.
Digit expects the phone to reach India next month or before the end of 2026, since the first Signature arrived here a few weeks after its global announcement. One Telugu-language report says India gets the phone on September 22 itself. Motorola’s own teaser only says the phone will be detailed that day, and it is unclear whether that means a full launch. Until Motorola India posts a date, the later window looks more likely.
The teasers reveal a few specs. The camera module carries 200MP LYTIA and Dolby Vision branding. That is a jump from the triple 50MP setup on the original Signature. It will come in two Pantone shades, Coal Smoke and Capulet Olive. The olive version is expected to have a vegan leather back, and the frame will be metal like the first model. An earlier teaser on Motorola’s European site showed a Crystals by Swarovski logo, which points to a Swarovski edition.
The processor is unconfirmed. The September 22 date overlaps with Qualcomm’s next-generation Snapdragon announcements, so speculation favors the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6. The original Signature ran a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, not an Elite chip, so Motorola could go either way.
Motorola has not announced a price for the Signature 27. The current Signature started at Rs 59,999 for 12GB + 256GB, with 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB versions at Rs 64,999 and Rs 69,999, sold through Motorola India and Flipkart. It has a 6.8-inch 165Hz display, 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Anyone about to spend around Rs 60,000 on the current model may want to wait for the September 22 details first.
