Barcelona unveils 5G-enabled Nubia Pad 3D at this year’s MWC, allowing users to view 3D images without the need for special 3D glasses can. According to the company, this is the world’s first AI technology designed to display images in 3D.

The technology is said to track the movements of a user’s eyes to project an image that creates a 3D effect without the need for 3D glasses. An official post on Chinese microblogging site Weibo confirms that his ZTE Nubia Pad 3D will be unveiled at his MWC 2023 event scheduled for February 28 in Barcelona.
The 5G-enabled tablet is said to use AI technology to track users’ eye movements and simulate a 3D effect while viewing images without the need for special 3D glasses.
As mentioned above, ZTE claims this is the world’s first AI technology designed to display images in 3D. For more design and spec details, the ZTE Nubia Pad 3D comes with thin bezels and two front-facing cameras housed in the display.

Between the two front-facing cameras is a large sensor that can be used for headline-making glass-less 3D features. Sensors help track the user’s eye movements and can be processed to dynamically illuminate the 3D view.
ZTE’s booth at MWC 2023 in Barcelona, Spain will be located in Hall 3 of Fira Gran Via, and the poster shared on Weibo has also been confirmed. The ZTE Nubia Pad 3D was announced at 12:30 PM (IST) with an official teaser poster.
