Bengaluru, India – In a landmark event today, Vodafone Idea (Vi) officially launched its next-generation 5G services in Bengaluru, further solidifying its ambitious plan to deploy ultra-fast connectivity across India’s key tech hubs. This launch in the “Silicon Valley of India” is a strategic milestone in Vi’s roadmap to activate 5G across all 17 of its priority circles by August 2025.

The new 5G rollout promises a transformative digital experience for both consumers and enterprises. Vi users with compatible 5G-enabled devices can now access unlimited 5G data under an introductory offer on recharge plans starting as low as ₹299. This initiative is designed to cater to a wide range of high-demand applications, from seamless streaming and gaming to real-time cloud computing and video conferencing.
