Sony’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the Xperia 1 VII, has been spotted on Taiwan’s National Communications Commission (NCC) website, revealing exciting details about its design and specifications. The live images shared by Sumaho Digest showcase the device in three color options: Black, Navy Green, and Purple.
The Xperia 1 VII appears to retain Sony’s classic design ethos, featuring a sleek vertical triple-camera setup on the back. The main camera is expected to include Sony’s advanced Exmor-T sensor, promising improved low-light performance and faster autofocus. The device also keeps the 3.5mm headphone jack, a rarity in modern flagship smartphones.
In terms of dimensions, the Xperia 1 VII is slightly taller than its predecessor, measuring 165mm in height and 74mm in width. It is likely to feature a 6.5-inch display with large bezels, staying true to Sony’s design philosophy. Under the hood, the smartphone is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, marking a significant upgrade from the Xperia 1 VI’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
As for pricing, the Xperia 1 VI was launched at EUR 1,299 (approximately ₹1,17,400) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The Xperia 1 VII is expected to follow a similar pricing structure, making it a premium offering in the smartphone market.
Sony fans can look forward to this new flagship device, which combines cutting-edge technology with a refined design. Are you excited about the Xperia 1 VII’s potential?
