Samsung has expanded its audio portfolio in India with the launch of the Galaxy Buds Core true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones. Priced at ₹4,999, the Buds Core go on sale from June 27 via the Samsung India website, Amazon and select brick-and-mortar outlets.
Under the hood, each earbud houses a dynamic driver system tuned for deep bass and clear mids. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) works alongside a three-microphone array per bud—two outward-facing and one inward—to suppress ambient sounds and enhance voice clarity on calls. The inclusion of silicone wingtips ensures a snug, pressure-free fit for workouts or all-day listening sessions.
One of the Buds Core’s headline features is Galaxy AI’s Interpreter tool, offering real-time, two-way translation during face-to-face chats. Speech captured by the earbuds in one language is instantaneously rendered in another, facilitating fluid conversations between speakers of different tongues.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4, multi-device pairing with auto-switching between compatible Samsung phones and tablets, plus touch-sensitive controls for playback and calls. A built-in IP54 rating guards against dust and splashes, while Samsung’s Find app integration helps track misplaced buds and case—triggering a ring when the case is opened if they’re nearby.
Battery life extends up to 35 hours total with the charging case when ANC is off (20 hours with ANC on), letting users go through multiple workdays before recharging. A quick-charge option delivers about an hour of playtime from a five-minute top-up in the case.
Beyond its sub-₹5,000 price tag, Samsung is offering no-cost EMIs over 12 months starting at ₹417 per month. Buyers who pair the Buds Core with Galaxy A26, A36 or A56 smartphones can also snag an additional ₹1,000 discount at checkout.
