Google Pixel Watch 3 is set to debut alongside the Pixel 9 series in October. In collaboration with Steve Hemmerstoffer, also known as OnLeaks, 91mobiles has obtained exclusive 5K renders and a 360-degree video, offering a comprehensive look at the upcoming wearable.
Familiar Design with Subtle Tweaks
The leaked images indicate that the Pixel Watch 3 will retain the same design as its predecessor, the Pixel Watch 2. Expect a similar circular, bezel-less display coupled with a rotating crown on the side. The Pixel Watch 3 is anticipated to feature a 1.2-inch display, mirroring the size of the previous model.
Display and Wear OS
The Pixel Watch 3 is seen running Wear OS, maintaining Google’s seamless integration of hardware and software. The smartwatch is shown in black with a matching strap, but additional color options are expected at launch.
Slight Increase in Thickness and Battery Capacity
According to OnLeaks, the Pixel Watch 3 will be slightly thicker than the Pixel Watch 2, likely due to an increase in battery capacity. Listings on Dekra and Safety Korea websites suggest a 307mAh battery, marginally larger than the 304mAh battery found in the Pixel Watch 2.
Dimensions and Possible Pro Model
The Pixel Watch 3’s dimensions are reported to be 40.79 x 40.73 x 14mm, compared to the Pixel Watch 2’s 41 x 41 x 12.3mm. Notably, Google may introduce two size variants for the first time, hinting at a potential Pixel Watch 3 Pro model. Despite the similar exterior design, the Pixel Watch 3 is expected to feature significant hardware and software upgrades.
