Google has announced the integration of its advanced AI model, Gemini into Google TV, promising to transform the way users interact with their smart TVs. Unveiled at CES 2025, this new feature aims to make the TV experience more intuitive and user-friendly.
With Gemini, users will be able to engage in natural conversations with their TVs, asking questions about various topics such as travel, health, space, and history. The AI will provide both video content and textual information to answer queries, making media searches easier than ever.
In addition to enhanced search capabilities, Gemini will enable users to create customized artwork, control smart home devices while the TV is in ambient mode, and receive daily news summaries. This integration is set to roll out later this year on select Google TV devices.
Google also hinted at the possibility of bringing Gemini to Wear OS devices, further expanding its AI capabilities across different platforms. The tech giant showcased the new features at CES 2025, demonstrating how Gemini can make interactions with third-party TVs more seamless and dynamic.
