POCO today unveiled its latest mid-range flagship, the POCO F7 5G, in India on June 24, 2025, promising top-tier performance at an aggressive price point for enthusiasts and power users alike.

The F7 5G sports a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with a 1.5K (1,280×2,772) resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 3,200 nits peak brightness. HDR10+ support delivers punchy colours, while wet-touch technology keeps the screen responsive even with damp fingers.
Performance & Cooling
Under the hood sits Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset paired with 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage (256 GB or 512 GB). POCO’s 3D Ice Loop cooling system—combining AI-driven regulation with a large vapour-chamber—ensures sustained peak performance during gaming or heavy multitasking.
Battery & Charging
A massive 7,550 mAh cell powers the device, backed by 90 W wired fast charging and 22.5 W reverse wired charging. POCO claims the F7 5G can go from zero to 100 percent in under 30 minutes, and even act as a power bank for other gadgets in emergencies.
Camera System
The dual-camera setup on the rear includes a 50 MP primary sensor and an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, while a 20 MP front shooter handles selfies and video calls. The main camera supports 4K video capture with OIS for steadier footage.
Software & Durability
The POCO F7 5G runs Android 15 out of the box, layered with Hyper OS 2.0. POCO has pledged four years of major OS upgrades and six years of security patches. On the durability front, the handset holds IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings, granting robust protection against dust, water jets and temporary submersion.
Price & Availability
In India, the POCO F7 5G starts at ₹29,999 for the 12 GB + 256 GB model and ₹31,999 for the 12 GB + 512 GB variant. Available in Cyber Silver, Frost White and Phantom Black, the F7 5G goes on sale via Flipkart from July 1, 2025.
