The OnePlus Nord Buds 4 Pro launches in India on March 19. OnePlus says these can block up to 55dB of noise — the highest ANC rating in the Nord Buds series so far, up from 49dB on the Nord Buds 3 Pro. Six decibels doesn’t sound like a big jump. In noise cancellation, it is. The 3 Pro was already ahead of most earbuds at its price, so if the 4 Pro actually delivers on that figure, this is the one spec to know before March 19.
The drivers are 12mm and titanium-coated, which OnePlus says deliver twice the power of those in the Nord Buds 3 Pro. Power doesn’t translate directly to better sound — it almost certainly means more bass. OnePlus is clearly tuning for mainstream listeners who want low-end weight. That’s a reasonable bet; most people do.
Codec support gets a real upgrade. LHDC 5.0 replaces the older model’s AAC and SBC support, which means higher-bitrate wireless audio on compatible devices. Calls get a 6-mic AI Clear Call system and 3D Spatial Audio alongside Game Sound Spatial Audio. The Nord series has had decent call quality before. Whether doubling the microphone count genuinely helps in a loud café or a windy street is the kind of thing reviews will settle — not spec sheets.
A few smaller things that add up: a volume slider is now built into the stem, something earlier Nord Buds lacked and users had asked for. 91Mobiles The touch zone now covers roughly 40% of the stem length, which should make gesture controls easier to hit reliably. The redesigned case is more than 10% smaller than the previous generation, and each bud weighs 4.4g.
Colors are Radiant Gray and Raven Black. Pricing is unannounced until the launch event. That number — not any of the specs above — will decide whether the Nord Buds 4 Pro is genuinely good value or just a very tidy list of features on paper.
